Snehatheeram is a voluntary agency formed in
the year 2000 by the Trivandrum-Quilon Diocese of the Mar Thoma
Syrian Church with the main objective of taking care of the
victims of HIV/AIDS.
Its registered under the Charitable Societies Registration
Act (No.T.4912/06).
During its short period of existence, Snehatheeram could bring
more than 300 families under its penumbra. This number is increasing.
It could also acquire its own land, buildings and other infrastructure
needed to meet its objectives. Today it is engaged in building
up an S.O.S. model village for the client population.
Snehagiri
SNEHAGIRI, the second phase of Snehatheeram
is a Rehabilitation centre for the children of HIV patients.
